recently i found a new definition for friends
and i am sure some of the people will agree with me.
a "friend" in this modern wolrd of IT should be define as
"someone who u know, is in your online messenger list and must be signed in or 'online'."
WHY?
firstly, we must know what normal friends normally do together;
they hang out together
watch movie together
show care and concerns to one another
understand each other
watch movie together
play board games together
play sports together
gym together
do this and do that altogether.
but in this "new" world of IT
although people u call friends still do this together
but all this activity is normally discuss online
and what will happen to those u call them friends
but is not online when a specific activity is being discuss or orgnaise?
YES!
THEY GET LEFT OUT OF THE PICTURE!!!
WHY?
simple!
because non of the person involve in this activity
will bother to msg those offline "friends"
and most of them didn't even notice those offline "friends" are not online!
and the very person who initiate this activity just conviently ask the persons who are onlines without even bothering to contact those that are offline.
and this people who are involve in the activities when ask by those "friends" they left out
they will simply stick their fingers and point to the person who initiate this activity
and that person will answer in a non-concern attitude
"YOU NOT ONLINE MA"
and even if those "friends" u ask even bother to answer you
the answer will be the same.
in my opinion
i think that the definition in all the dictionaries regarding this term "friend"
are not very accurate
and should be revised!
