Will you help if it was you?

i was on the bus, on my way to school this morning when i witness someone landed three full force punches on a person without warning. the guy who punches the person was my 'neighbour', he live 2 floor above mi, same block. he was an ex-convict, with a little mental problem and has been jailed numerous time for attacking people. the attacking incident happen like this, on the second level of bus 99. i board the bus went up to the second lvl and took the seat right in front of the mobile tv near the mid section of the bus. then i saw him(my 'neighbour') coming on board to the second lvl as well as soon as everyone has boarded, the bus move. just then the bus had to brake due to a red light and since he(my 'neighbour') haven had the chance to sit down yet, he fall towards a sitted passenger and knock right into him. and without any warning, he(my 'neighbour') suddenly landed 3 punches on the passenger's face causing a cut across the nose and bleeding lips. he(my 'neighbour') he said the passenger scolded something in the instant he('my neighbour') knocked into him. i was only a few cm from the attacker and could have grab him and stop him from landing the second punches onto the passenger but my leg was injured and i could hardly even walk.
